Advertising for Cult Fiction

Since 1995, the most popular films have been shown on a big screen in the idyllic Schlosspark in Nidau/Biel, in Neuchâtel, and in Solothurn. In addition to the main program, a worthwhile parallel program is running under the ‘Cult Fiction’ label in the “Gefängnishöfli”, a range of 18 film classics of independent productions were shown.

Our concept was to develop a design that evokes the visual expectations of independent films and the brand “Cult Fiction”. We developed an advertising campaign using packaging paper, a well-designed typography and a remarkable typeface. It was important that the poster differs from the main communication and that a sustainable effect was achieved using a relatively low budget.
