The Swiss government and the stock exchange wanted to jointly give investors a closer look at this attractive sector and encourage foreign medtech enterprises to come to Switzerland. The Swiss Medtech Report covered the high density of medtech companies in Switzerland, the advantages of the country as a production location, including the good medtech networks and the strong tradition of financing medtech enterprises. Portraits of medtech companies, research reports, and financial reviews showed why Switzerland is so attractive for this sector. The Swiss Medtech Report was used by the stakeholders Ernst & Young, SWX, Osec, IGE, swiTT, IBM, and Swiss Medical Cluster at events as an informational tool and offered readers a rapid overview of this dynamic industry.
