Mövenpick challenged us to redesign their outdated websites, which coincided with Mövenpick’s rebranding process. The redesign of Mövenpick’s website was therefore a key project in the rebranding process, which initiated a process that regulated responsibilities regarding Mövenpick’s online communications. For successful online communication in the market, the consistent user approach was a success factor for all divisions. Therefore, a holistic website concept with standardized communication of the Mövenpick brand was developed. This reflected the high-quality reputation of Mövenpick’s services. A new up-to-date Content Management System was introduced that was used by all divisions in order to ensure brand integrity. A thoughtful and consistent navigation structure and templates with predefined designs ensured recognition by the user.
Mövenpick is a Swiss group of companies with a global presence. Their core competence lies in the hospitality business with gastronomy, hotels, wine, and premium products. Mövenpick is organized as a holding company with four operationally independent divisions: Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Mövenpick Restaurants, Mövenpick Wine, and Mövenpick Fine Foods. Mövenpick is present in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North America.
