Huber Winery

Label Design for Huber

Huber is a little vineyard near the idyllic wine region on the Wagram in Austria. The chosen design for the five wine labels is inspired by the hoopoe, a local bird which had disappeared from the region 15 years ago and would have become extinct without the dedicated efforts of environmental organizations. The hoopoe illustration was designed by Olga Drack (Golda Cracks), a well-known tattoo artist and illustrator in Zurich. The label series are for the local wines “Zweigelt” and “Grüner Veltliner”, which were produced by Huber with dedication and hard work to crafting unmistakable wines typical of the region.
