Is there anybody out there?
The blizzard began shortly before midnight and continued unabated for the rest of the night. The next morning, after the whiteout, we took some photographs. New York woke up to a paralyzed and surreal winter landscape. Walking through the streets, an eerie stillness was in the air; there were no moving cars, only full subway trains.
