Marco Simonetti and Ibrahim Zbat founded Walhalla in 1993, a company that quickly developed into a leading design studio in the early 90s. It was a long way from the streets of Berne to the Louvre, but this is where some of Walhalla’s works ended up. Neither of the two founders went to art school; they simply started out doing flyers for electronic music and making art for small record labels, but soon they ended up getting commissions from large corporations such as Renault and Sony.
WELL, BONJOUR. HELLO USER, CIAO, WELCOME. THANKS FOR DROPPING BY! I LIKE THAT.
On this online portfolio/blog, you will find a showcase of my design work from 1984 until now, some of which are the result of amazing collaborations and personal initiatives. For all the opportunities given to me to develop design projects, I would like to thank the clients and agencies that I have worked for. Especially Heads Corporate Branding in Zurich, where I still create and pursue several remarkable projects in strategic brand design. I would also like to thank Walhalla, where everything started, and Komamako, which made me a better and more open-minded designer and who taught me that design matters.
