Chair Prototypes for Horgenglarus

Several hundred sketches and design studies were necessary for the first stage of this lounge chair project. The selected designs were developed further and took on a detailed form. Subsequently, a further selection was made for prototyping.

Established in 1880 in Horgen, Horgenglarus is Switzerland’s oldest maker of chairs and tables. In terms of design and quality, it has ranked among the world’s finest furniture manufacturers for more than 135 years.
