With so many free newspapers flooding Zurich, the Tages-Anzeiger wanted to highlight the numerous reductions available to Tagi subscribers with a “carte blanche”. Exhausted but happy readers showed that you can read the Tagi for free – if you go out enough. You may lose sleep with the “carte blanche”, but not without recovering your subscription costs. The campaign makes a convincing case for the value of the Tages-Anzeiger subscription and effectively reaches the main target audience of the free newspapers: young night-life lovers.
