70 Years – 70 Icons

“We build cars that nobody needs, but that everyone wants,“ Ferdinand Porsche. Porsche is one of the most successful and iconic sports car manufacturers in history, ever since Ferdinand Porsche reinvented the sports car in 1948. From the 356 to today’s technical gem, the 911 GT3, Porsche has gradually emerged to an important sports carmaker.

The 70th anniversary of Porsche celebrated this milestone in a unique way: For the anniversary, AMAG organized a special Porsche event that showed, since its founding, over seventy sports cars. This “unique rendezvous” is now available in a book “70 Years – 70 Icons”. Over 280 pages, the book gives insight into Porsche’s overall history.

We designed a richly detailed book that captures seventy years of car-making history as one of the world’s leading automotive companies. Extraordinary, contemporary, and historical photos brings to light the top-notch engineering and innovation of Porsche, complemented by personal stories.
